Matthew Dudziak - Instructor

Matthew was introduced to tennis by his dad at the age of 4, and it has always been  a passion for Matthew.

In high school, Matthew volunteered with the Doug Philpott Inner-City Children’s Tennis Fund in Toronto as an aid to the instructors, and by his third year with the program, he was an assistant instructor himself.

Thanks to the coaching development program also run by the Philpott team, Matthew was able to receive his Instructor certification from Tennis Canada. With this, he became a head instructor for the Philpott program and started teaching all ages in groups as well as privately at the Scarborough Bluffs Tennis Club.

While moving to Kitchener-Waterloo to pursue music studies at Laurier University meant a hiatus from teaching tennis, Matthew is excited at the opportunity to once again foster a love of tennis in those who are new to the sport, as well as help experienced players reach their tennis goals. Matthew hopes to certify at Tennis Canada’s Club Pro 1 level next year, continuing his quest to always be a better coach.
